Cassava Cake From Lucena!!



Cassava cake are gelatinous spongy cake that is made from cassava (obviously) This is my mother's favorite it is very delicious and addictive i use to grab one for my midnight snack this is a must buy if you stop over to quezon provinces.

THE FAMOUS HALO HALO!!



This the Halo Halo it is the combination of Crushed ice milk Nata, Beans, Banana, Jackfruit, Ube, Leche Flan, and Ice cream. It is called halo halo Because you got to mix and mix it before you get to eat it. Most people Love this dish Im one of them

Palitaw!



Palitaw is a small flat rice cake seved with desicated coconut and sugar. Normally people will served this separated not like this. This dish is called palitaw because when they are being cooked in boiling water you'll know they are done when they float. Litaw is the tagalog word for float. This is very delicious I miss this and im caraving for it right now

Pitsi pitsi from the Quezon Province!


This pitsi pitsi is a gelatinous  ball that is smooth and sticky to eat it is very sweet with a hint of salt that is coming from the cheese. It is made up of cassava NOT RICE. this is not a kakanin Quezon regions is known for there use of cassava. This is a must try because i loved it :D

Leche Flan :)



Sweet Sweet Flan. The Leche Flan of my Grandmother is my favorite. She does this dish so well that we have one each me and m cousins. It is a delicious Flan very sweet. What i love about this is the texture smooth and just melts in your mouth and the sweetness explodes from within. Let me mind you this Flan didn't last a minute in my family.

A Delicious Rice Product of Bicol


My dad buy this a lot where ever we lived you see when i was young we Migrated a lot and my dad never fails to have this so i thought that this dish was a manilenean dish. This Suman sa Ibos Here in manila they call  it suman but in bicol they call it Ibos. My dad is a bicolano so I know a lot of things from bicol. The sauce in the middle is called Santan it is a combination of milk and Panocha and pili nuts.

Bibingka from CALABARZON region


I stated Calabarzon because my parents and I roamed around region 4a and we forgot where we bought it but the origin of bibingka is from Cainta, Rizal. Bibingka is savory sweet cake that has salted egg inside and sometimes cheese and topped with desicated coconut and sweet muscovado sugar. Not a big fan of salted eggs I'm the one of those people who wants it without egg but its still yummy thats why this picture is only dried banana leaves now.

Chicharong Bulaklak from my Uncle in Bicol



Chicharong Bulaklak is my favorite but I don't know what it is made of but now i finally found the courage to know what it is. According to research chicharon bulaklak is a pig's Mesentery. I tried to research what mesentary is but i can't seem to understand it because all of this unknown terms they're using if you want read it yourself : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mesentery

This is the delicious and favorite crispy Chicharon bulaklak Best served with vinegar w/ chilis and garlic

Kristina's Inutak


This is something i have never tried before. I see this in malls but only now i got the money to buy it ( not that it's expensive). Inutak is a two layer sticky rice made which has two flavor the top one is plain and the bottom is Ube. This is Kristina's Inutak a group of businessman that started in taguig they sell in different malls I bought this one at Mall Of Asia

Pastillas de Leche at home




As For every adventure there is always one place you start and that is HOME. At home I have this favorite sweet that i must at least have a serving a day and that is the sweet sweet Pastillas or Milk Candy. This is not your normal Pastillas because as we all know normal pastillas are Wrapped with Paper and served candy sized. This Pastillas De Leche is a bit modern Made by Sitsirya In which they just put in a jar like spreads and peanut butter.
